Cindy has been a member of the IBT staff since 1978. As Director, she oversees all operations of the department as well as developing strategies to ensure our programs enhance the overall mission of the Teamsters.

Sally Payne, Associate Director and Western Region Training Coordinator

Sally is a veteran member of the IBT staff also having started in 1978. Sally oversees the regional programs and the LEARN network project. In addition to her Associate Director duties, Sally serves as the Western Region Training Coordinator for the Western Region.

Shawn Ellis, Central Region Training Coordinator

Shawn, a 20-year member of Local 372 in Detroit, conducts training programs on a wide variety of topics in the Central Region and lends his special expertise with media relations to our Communications TLAs. He works closely with the joint council and local union training coordinators in his region.

Iliana Flores, Southern Region Training Coordinator

Iliana, a Local 745 member, who served as a steward at UPS and later a business agent, coordinates programs in the Southern Region for officers, business agents and stewards. She also works closely with LEARN joint council and local union coordinators to help meet training needs of our affiliates.

Claudia Galloway, Sr. Training Coordinator

Claudia develops and implements organizing training programs for all levels of the organization in conjunction with the Teamsters Organizing Department. She also assists with bilingual training and material translation.

Karin Jones, Communications and Outreach Coordinator

Karin coordinates programs on special interest topics, including Teamster history, diversity and women’s issues. She also works on web projects for the department as well as special IBT history initiatives. 

Bill Munger, Eastern Region Training Coordinator

Bill joined the department after a 30-year career with the BLET. Bill coordinates programs in the Eastern Region for officers, business agents and stewards, and works closely with LEARN joint council and local union coordinators to help meet training needs of our affiliates. Bill also serves as an advisor to the IBT Human Rights Commission.

Myron Sharp, Training Coordinator

Myron is another longtime IBT staff member with solid programming experience on a large range of topics relevant to stewards, members and officers of our local affiliates and joint councils. Myron also works closely with the Teamsters Black Caucus and other IBT leadership projects.

Vicky Matullo, Department Manager

Vicky coordinates all of our office operations which now includes field staff.  She also handles much of the logistics for our program events. Vicky will be coordinating our new quarterly department newsletter scheduled to begin production in January.

Marie Nolan, Resource Coordinator

Marie coordinates production of materials for all programs including TLA events, and handles all requests for resources from our affiliates. Marie also assists with logistic planning for all programs.
