This is the final call to register for the Teamsters Leadership Academy (TLA): "Negotiating to Win" for local union officers, business agents and/or designees scheduled November 13-15, 2007. The program will be hosted by Local 150 in Sacramento, California. The three-day program will draw on the expertise of IBT staff and other experts who will provide the skills and knowledge to help negotiate good contracts. Please note that this training is now open to participants from all regions. Please confirm space availability for this class before making travel arrangements by contacting Marie Nolan in the Training and Development Department at (202) 624-8965. The recommended hotels in the area are Capitol Plaza Holiday Inn, Hilton-Sacramento Arden West and the Radisson Hotel. Affiliates are responsible for the cost of their own transportation, lodging and meals not provided through the program. Hotel and flight reservations should be made as soon as possible. You can contact the Teamsters Travel Department at 1-800-IBTFLY1 to make travel arrangements. There is a $75-per-person registration fee to attend this program.
