The IBT Training and Development Department will conduct a Business Agent Skills in Survival (BASIS) TLA for new local union business agents, April 2-5, 2007 at the IBT in Washington, D.C.

Register today. Registration forms must be received by March 23.

The four-day training will draw on the expertise of IBT leaders and staff and provide tactics and strategies for organizing, negotiating, managing your work and effective representation, including building strong bargaining units.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn. To make hotel and travel reservations, please call the Teamsters Travel Department at 1-800-IBTFLY1. Be sure to mention that you are with the Teamsters BASIS TLA. Affiliates are responsible for the cost of their own transportation and lodging.

This program carries a $100 per person registration fee. Please make all checks payable to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Class materials, continental breakfast, lunch and one reception will be provided.
